thanks thomas .... i did not kow that the cross symbolises all that you stated ... i always thought it to be the symbolism of christanity only .... thanks for the valuable info, i really appreciate it

Hello Himadri. I wish to thank you for your comment.Interesting photo here, and a misunderstanding by some. The cross represents the Tree of Life and the Tree of Nourishment; it is also a symbol of universal, archetypal man, capable of infinite and harmonious expansion on both the horizontal and vertical planes; the vertical line is the celestial, spiritual and intellectual, positive, active and male, while the horizontal is the earthly, rational, passive, and negative and female, the whole cross forming the primordial androgyne. Hope this helps as to why he displays the cross. Good work.

Regards,

Tom

it is rare to meet a person of some understanding beyond soceity and its religion i have seen so many fools chanting god. misguiding his own generation, whatever now natural to the kid is all lost. but i have some hope to meet such people who are yet livin through their small light of awareness and not through someoneeles wisdom.hey u have not answered me on my last comment on KC

that is what empty face is. vacucous because he is missing the basic which doesnot come wearing thing or painting ur body it is an inside phenomenon but what i am condeming is about growth of the man it is beyond fascination and frivolities it is about love honesty to ur self first and later it reaches to others well it is an ordinary photo but good effort to create fascinating philosophy.

he is rather vacuous ... but the fact that he is buddhist and is wearing a cross on his arm is quite fascinating

it does not matters where is what. first he must be impressed with the cross because sometime back in the past it was in fashion and then again his parents caught him his society caught him his garb is representing the another aspect and i feel this image is symbolic to the present condition of everybody. wearing western clothes western knowledge infulnced from what is hot and empty face nothing of thier own all brought and carried like the heritage. that is why people and their talks re so empty just like his face.
