About Last shot in this series and first attempt at trying an action shot. This was taken about 6:30 am just as the sun was coming up. Had my Digital Rebel XT (EOS 350D) set on the basic "action" mode. Much to learn about doing this type shot.

Thanks Rob - he was flying really fast and between the view finder and my eyes - I was really lucky to get him in the shot at all and not just the tree. LOL

LOL Susie - Sam III "borrowed" my little neighborhood hummer to take his shots from my back yard on Sunday night. His was taken at dusk and mine about 6:30 am this morning. This little guy comes in an cleans up the ceiling area of our patio and then perches on the wires of of little patio lanterns. Unfortunately, I haven't had the camera out there when he has been within a few feet. Guess I will just have to take it out with me from now on. Thanks for commenting. Jan

I can barely see them either and this am was a real challenge as it wasn't fully light. Really have to get an adaptor for my viewfinder - but someone in one of my quilting clubs suggested going to my eye doctor so that I get the right magnification. What a concept! Jan
