Eric, This is the Thing I Love about your work, Not only can I Learn about great Photography, ButI can also Learn about History. History was my favorite subject in school, Thanks for giving me that insight. Can't wait to see your next up-loads!

Sam, Thanks for the comment. The rings actually are correct for the period. One of the other Senecas present at the reenactment talked about them prior to the battle. The were called Jesuit rings because the French traders and missionaries (hence the Jesuit connection) brought them over as cheap trinkets to trade with the natives during the period of French colonization in Canada prior to the French and Indian War. They were very popular as trade items with the Iroquois and other northeastern tribes. Most of the reenactors are quite serious about being historically accurate and go to great lengths, and often expense, to be correct and avoid any anachronisms. Eric

Excellent Shot Eric. This had to be awesome to watch. To bad the guy dressed as a Seneca Indian wore his rings. Perfect Colors and DOF> WAY TO GO!!!!
