Excellent symbolic image of what is lost and left behind, Gayle. My heart goes out to the victims of 'Katrina' and now to endure the anarchy that has arisen is simply deplorable.

As for the photo, it's quite striking - wonderful fit for the 'nostalgia' feeling you were going for with the softness and slightly solarized look to it. The subject has great symbolism and really evokes a sense of loss, of good days and good things currently out of our reach...

Dear Gayle, You'll be happy to hear that I have donated already (I donate 4 times a year), it's called federal income tax, and that's what it's for - disasters like this (if the government wants to waste it on "outside projects" maybe we need a different government) You take care of your people and country first. Your Picture's very symbolic, a swing without a swinger (kind of like a country without a real Leader - where ever that would be, not quite sure) Very well done......

This one is very very sad Gayle...and yes I will donate and I hope everyone realizes how critical this is, we all have to help...they need money and lots of it...very good about and this image with the empty swing really tells the story...great work....:):)
