I really like it Rina. I see what Michael is saying and I'm going to try his advice for my own photos. However I think the effect without the shading gives this a nice effect too...sort of sun through the fog.

Thanks Michael! Silly thing is, I have a hood. Only, it was sitting in my bag when I took this...
My husband and I were driving out of the park, when he starts frantically pointing out my side, going, "Uh! Uh!...". So joining him in his hysteria, I simply snapped off some shots without thinking!!! :))

Very nice Rina. You might want to keep any direct light off your lens during capture. This will help eliminate light flare and improve overall contrast. You dont need an expensive lens hood you can simply use your hand. Hope this helps.

Rina this is beautiful, I love how the rays of the sun are obscuring some of the details of the trees, very moody feel, ...fantastic perspective...nice composition...well done...:):)
