About Don't pets make the best subjects? My urgent coaxings (and a treat) only held this boxer at bay for a few moments while I angled the Nikon 7900 to take several speed shots. Typically there is no depth of field issues with these pocket digital cameras, but in this case I forced the camera to lock onto the subject's nose (spot meter) and I was able to create some distortion in the foreground. Much frollicking ensued after this torturous moment.
