Thank you Shane, I'm no expert by any means but I used to be an Air Force photographer. My main job was printing B&W images, so, I have a fair knowledge of what a B&W image should look like.
It's all a matter of playing with levels, curves, channel mixer & sharpening. Just to mention a few, but, it takes me quite a while before I am satisfied.
I do quick adjustments to submitted images but if I really like them I will spend hours trying to get them to look the best that I am able.
It keeps me busy and out of trouble in my old age!

This is OK but it has too much white, the tones should be a little more contrasty as the original shows that there is no real whites.
good try anyway.

Hi Clive, I like the colored one better. Noramlly I would say B&W is better, but in this case I prefer the color version.

Dear Clive, thanks again for your advice and like I already said I will check my posted images on Monday on my work screen. Have you already checked my porfolio, because many posted images I have done on my home PC? Maybe you can check and tell me, in my point of view there is a little difference but not as you say. Another question for you, are you using a mac?
Well never the less, your image seems to look quit right, except the white in the flower are a little bit bright and have little bit more contrast. But I like that.
Clive, I really appreciate your words and this is what it is all about in UF, getting crituques! Even if they are good or not so good. I am glad you liked the pose. Take care and nice Sunday.
