Hi Gayle, good to hear from you again, hope you recover from your difficulties. I haven't done much either, getting to the point that I don't want to leave the house in the cold weather, not a good thing, have a good holiday season and see you soon, Cary

Oh, this is outstanding! I really like how you've filtered the water (or maybe the longer exposure time) while the skies are grainy. SCORE, Cary!!

Hi Ann, thanks for the comment, there is not much tide in Lake Michigan, this was just quiet water and somewhat iced over. Ther was some wind at my back which also tends to flatten the water. I will check out your latest waterfall pics, Cary

A stunning shot Cary. Beautiful colour. Great composition with what looks to be a low tide. Love the reflection. The reds really stand out. Don't worry Cary..you aren't the only one who freezes for a nice photo. The other day I went out and took photos of frozen waterfalls. My fingers froze even inside gloves.
I hope you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas Cary and a Happy New Year.
Cheers - Ann :)

Beautiful color...in the sky and the reflection, great composition! Like how the top of the image fades away. Brrrr...was it windy that day? Hope not...winds off Lake Michigan are brutal! Robin
