About This is an extreme macro of a squids eye. This demersal squid will start to dig itself into the sand when detected by divers, so the photographer has a few minutes to take his shot before the squid is totally covered by white shell sand.
I "nuked" this critter to get maximum depth of field as there is little of such at 4:1. The reflections in the eye was a happy surprise.
