I love these peaceful sceneries, with glittering snow and sun rays shining through the branches of conifers.
Thanks for your comments on my pictures, Christian.

If Winter always looked like this, then maybe it would be harder to say goodbye to. This will be a welcome site in the dog days of summer yet to come. Nice job on the exposure. The picture has great dynamic range and plenty of snap. The colour of the sky is gorgeous against the whites and greens of the foreground.

Thanks for your great comments on my picture Hedgehog cactus. The petals are so thin, thinner than tissure paper and very little detail in them. The blooms are only around for a short time in the spring. Have to be careful in the desert that you don't back up into them. My email address is dloseke7@yahoo.com if you want to communicate. I have been retired since 1989 and getting back into my photography. Don

Looks like nice snow, but I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to winter. I need more days of skiing, don't you? Well, nice shot.

I only wish I could say good-bye to winter! We're expecting 8 inches and I would be very unhappy if it weren't for the fact that I'll have one last chance to get some snow shots.... Anyway, very pretty image here, shot at a nice perspective, even if I'm a bit weary of looking at the stuff! :) Nice shot.
