Darlene -- Did you pose that bird? What a great capture! I thought I liked your previous posting of this bird! This time, in addition to the great light-on-dark contrast you managed to present in your last image, you've given us a nice reflection and a little touch of green. I really like the branch (grass?) hanging from his beak. Kudos on this capture!
I am curious, though, how much coxing did it take to get the bird to pose like that? Great work!

As I said on the last comment Darlene, the contrast between the bird and background is breathtaking. The slender tree branch in his beak adds a lot to this image. Lots of patience was needed to get these shots.
