About	This is a good friend of mine. I was pleased with the way her dark features enhance the effect of black and white. The only thing I think I wasn't pleased with was the shadow on the left side of her face right under her eye.This picture is characteristic of Rachel because it gives off the "mysterious" air that she carries.

Your friend has a very expressive face. The dreaded facial shadow..next time even a piece of white poster board on the opposite side of your flash would do the trick. Interesting and effective crop. Nice one, Suzanne.

This one also is quite well done. I like how you kept the outer edge of her nose within the outline of her left cheek, and the twinkle of light in the eyes. I also like the close crop. The way you cut off of her head adds tension. Your background is a little messy, but would be fairly easy to clone out.

I like the pose as well as lighting. Perhaps a little reflected light on her left side would make an excellent photo even better?
