About I went to photograph some more bluebells this evening but was struck by the backlight on this tree in the field of oil seed rape. The exposure was difficult to get right, shooting into the sun and even with a 0.9ND grad to reduce the contrast I ended up choosing the most underexposed image of the three I took and then managed the exposure in PS. I also had to take out a telephone cable that goes right through the tree's canopy. This hasn't been totally successful but it was very fiddly!

Striking shot, Barry, though the sky at the top seems to have posterized a little. Cropping the image just above the could line would deal with this.
Kind regards, Chris

Image et couleurs impressionnantes; même le léger bruit numérique ajoute quelque chose, et je répéterais la même chose que david Sheyn

terrific shot, but i'd get rid of the cloud in the upper right, it draws the eye towards the foreground and away from the tree
