About Third in the Derwent Dawn series again taken using partial infra-red film and an infra-red filter. Again the conversion to JPEG has darkened the image.

Got elements that I like: like IR at dawn and reflections, but film IR lacks the clarity of digital IR. Great contrast and symmetry!

These 3 Derwent Dawn pictures are fabulous. I think this is my favourite. The strong tree and the reflection appeal to me. They are all wonderful.

Wow... the grain is really showing in this one, and I don't think the effect is bad at all. It's almost looking like a Tri-X photo ;)

I like the grainy tones. I think this would be spectacular in the non Jpeg version. Well done Barry.

An interesting result Barry, the clouds and mist on the left hand side are incredible. The tree seems centered, but the reflection works to offset that to a certain degree. I really like the graduation of light from dark on the top and bottom to light in the middle.

Chris
