About I was so tempted to remove the tire and get a decent picture of this one. It sits on the same yard as the Plymouth. But since I was already pushing my luck, by just being on the property with a no trespassing sign posted, I figured I had better let well enough alone.

Fantastic capture of another oldie but goodie Rebecca. The tire is on the hood to let you believe it doesn't roll anymore. Haha, watchout. I really love the tall delicate flowers growing up around it.

Well, I don't want you in jail, but I love these old pictures even if you cant get the angle you want. I have had several suggestions about how to imporve my photos by moving to another angle but because the subject is on private property I am limited to the angle I used. Keep the old pictures coming. Rebecca, I like this one ... and the title fits so well, I like it just the way you captured it.... the crop Dirck did seems a little crowded and squeezed.... I noticed he removed the power lines ..... that I like ... but your off-set makes the shot. Im heading to Louisiana, Mississippi and then Tennassee in the next few weeks .... main stay will be in Memphis and Nashville ..... I hope to get some really cool shots .... take care
Stuart

what is amazing to me about this car is that the tire remains on the hood and rest of car is still in one piece!..around here that car would only be a mere framework skeleton!..love those split windshields..nice,vintage find and now your crown says "Queen of Vintage"!..LOL..oh yeah,i only see one face this time!..cowgirl

I don't blame you for being cautious - this might be the place that 50 ft. woman guards! :)
These old cars really do make wonderful subjects, and nature has tried to spruce them up as best she can with a few flowers... It feels to me like it's a little crowded on the right side of the frame, so I tried a slightly different crop. While I was at it, I added a little drama to the sky (you know me - can't resist tinkering! :)

I think the tyre adds to the composition. Very well done Rebecca. I had a look at your portfolio and you have some stunning pictures. Great work.
