Thanks so much for your wonderful comment. You are right about all of the things. When you take it you have the same feeling. Don.

Lovely shot, Don. I often wonder whether there is a kind of basic syntax in photography, where visual elements replace words. In this type of frame, the most often seen elements appear to be 1) the frame of branches 2)the (more or less)defined path and 3)the people walking (generally in a slow, measured manner). The overall "message" emanating from it all is one of serenity, a quiet sense of confidence and assurance.
Regards
Gervais

Yes this is the VR lens. It sure is a big help for me as I am getting shaky trying to hand hold a camera. Most of the time I use a tripod. A great lens. Don.

Very nice composition, Don. The texture of the path, grass and trees is amazing. Are you doing anything to enhance? Good Work! Larry

No Larry, we have not left the desert. That will happen in May. This picture was taken about 30 miles from here along a river Nature Conservancy area. It is very lush and green from all of the rain that we have had. It is starting to warm here. Has been 75 degrees for a couple of days and going to 80 the last of the week. Thanks. Don.

Nice composition, Don! I like the idea of the path winding through the bush, with your daughter and grand son walking into the sunlight. Dave.
