Hi Stefan, Spectacular combination of subjects, taking the "standard" touristy NYC shots out of the ordinary. I just returned from NYC, and I've been looking for such an angle at the statue, but failed to find it. (hence the "spectacular", my shots fail into oblivioun compared to this one...;)
Cheers,
Hugo

Superb! Sweet alternative of a photo-wise beaten up monument. Love your view on that! CB

WOW - this is a great captured 6 and at the same time "Frihetsgudinnan"! But THIS is NOT a "tourist" image in my opinion! Excellent!

most probably a 7+ dear Stefan!!!! very unusual and bold composition... breaks many rules but the end result is more than interesting... very original view... i think it is a good addision to "pics of famous places" project... haven?t seen any such view of the statue of Liberty before!!!!! very well done... emy :)

Gidday Stefan. I don't know entirely what others will make of this but immediately for me I am reminded of the carved prow of a maori canoe. That's not a simple negative space up front but something very primitive about this point of view to my eyes.
