GREAT mix of lines and tones Gayle...this one is very cool. i love the layering of natural curving lines, with the straight lines of human origin. lovely work.

Another riveting image, getting our attention like a machine gun burst. But then it dances softly through our imagination like flowers in the autumn sun. Sweet, but powerful.

I love the soft tones you used, Gayle. They definitely give this piece that earthy, organic quality you were going for. I get a sense of ordered turmoil looking at this and how you achieved a kind of peaceful chaos, a complete contradiction, is unbelievable. Inspired hazy vignetting. This is really very lovely. Great work Shameless!!!

Yes, by layers I mean its general appearance (I don't know what layers mean in Photoshop or Paitshop). Ahh... double exposure. That explains the layers.

Very cool effect, Gayle - it has the feeling of sandwiched high-contrast negatives. I love the way certain elements come forward from behind and others recede from the fore - beautifully blended!

hi and thanks for dropping by MHT...not sure if you thought i used Layers as in paintshop tool,or you meant layers just in general appearance? This was simply a ghost mirroring much like a double exposure ...it causes the hazy/misty light areas and then i darkened the contrast in specific areas of the image just like one can do with burning in a traditional darkroom...it is called "photoart" because i created a different look from the original...i shoot film and don't have a darkroom,so use paintshop pro8 as my darkroom....i look forward to seeing your portfolio!
