Love it Gayle! The lighting is beautiful and so is the composition! And would love to have some taffy and popcorn right about now, but I guess I'll settle for a skinny latte!

Hi Gayle,
a bit dark overall, but I like the mood in here. this image has a very "quiet" look... makes me hold my breath and listen to the mood. there is a lot of peace in there.
best wishes, Thilo

> That's a pretty big sign to let you know they have Taffy and > Popcorn.
Are you aware how ridiculous this branding sounds to me?
Mind you, I would happily get out of bed in the morning and even get dressed and put on blue suede shoes to go out and get a whole bunch of taffy popcorn.
Popcorn people, eh? What are they like????
Yeah!

That's a pretty big sign to let you know they have Taffy and Popcorn. You can tell it's old fashioned thinking...they must get into a "Golden Arches" mindset next year. It's the New Age of marketing...nice capture, Mark

Like Neal said, it has an undertone of evil - fairs and carnavals always evoke 'Something Wicked This Way Comes' in my mind! You captured that mood beautifully! (Is 'Puyallup' another way of saying 'Y'all pull up!'? :)

This has a definite vintage feel to it Gayle. This could be the poster for a traveling fair back in the day. Beautiful lighting...nice catch!

Beautifully designed with wonderful color. But I perceive an ominous undertone of evil. Those dark spots on the top of the sign look like eyes. I think it would be wise to slowly back away from here, and then run like hell.
